TCS2 on Windows 7 - Issues with MS Office Products?

Has anyone had issues with MS Ofiice/Outlook/Explorer products after installing TCS2 on Windows 7?

I am having issues with Outlook crashing when trying to attach documents, with Word and Excel crashing when trying to save a document that was opend from an email or downloaded from a wiki page, and with Visio crashing when trying to save an image as a .png.  It seems to happen most often if I choose a folder that is 2 levels down in my Documetns folder. I have been going around with IT on this for weeks. Since I am the only user of TCS in our office and no one else is having these kinds of issues, TCS2 is under fire. The suggestion is to upgrade to TCS2.5, but I am not sure if I want to do that, especially if others are successfully using version 2 on Windows 7.

I do not think anything in TCS2.5 will address the issues you are having. The 2.5 update updates Captivate and maybe Flash. I have TCS2 under Windows 7 32-bit with no issues. What version of Office do you have. I do not have the latest version of office, since it is not supported by Acrobat 9 nor other add-ons I use.

Thanks for the feedback, I will keep pursuing a solution using TCS2 without the upgrade. I am currently using Office Standard 2007.
