Question

Text Insets

A few weeks ago I asked about single sourcing and using text inserts and conditional text. I am trying the text insets and like that solution so far (I use Frame 10). However, is there a way I can insert a page break in text imported by reference? If I import it directly into the doc, I lose the ability to update it automatically, right?

Only if it comes in with the formatted text you're importing, or can be imputed to it by the local formats.

If the importing document doesn't have the paragraph formats of the inset, I'd expect the inset to control its own pagination.

If the importing document does have the formats, and you elect to force use of them, then you might lose incoming pagination.

Explicit page breaks in the source I can't even guess about, as I never use them.
