TOC update error

While updating existing toc i am getting ? at the middle of each line. how to solve this error???

Obviously the font which is defined for the single headings in the TOC (e.g. heading1TOC) does not support all characters of the heading (e.g. heading1).

Can you compare the font of heading1TOC and heading1?

You have to apply a font which supports all the characters from heading1 to heading1TOC.
