Track changes does not find all changes

I use track changes as part of document approval.

When accepting changes, sometimes tracked changes are missed.

This happens in random documents and almost always in text in table cells.

You have to actually put the cursor in the offending cell, and then it finds it.

Has anyone seen this?

Yes. I also encounter this from time to time.

And also only in table cells or table titles.

I use FrameMaker 11.0.2.384.

I've logged on Adobe as a bug. Hopefully it gets fixed as it's quite serious when documents go out to customers with tracked text.

I wonder if this is just a new side effect of a long-standing defect.

I haven't checked later FM versions, but in FM7, simple Find operations would not reliably find obvious content in table cells.
