Track Text Edit - shortcut?

Hi there,

I was a bit of happy to find the "track text edit" option in framemaker.

so far so good...

But right at the moment I got a file with some changes, maybe 50 times.

Is it serious that I have to click

(@menu bar)

special -> track text edit -> next

(the menu closes and the cursor jumps to the next entry)

special -> track text edit -> accept / disline

(the menu closes and the change is done/undone)

special -> track text edit -> next

(the menu closes and the cursor jumps to the next entry)

special -> track text edit -> accept / disline

(the menu closes and the change is done/undone)

.

.

.

.

and so on????? 50 times?

accept all is useless! Why is there no "right click menu" ? or even a short cut?

Are there something?

Thanks Michael

    Hi Michael,

You can either use the toolbar (View->Toolbars->Track Text Edits) or shortcuts for this.

For shortcuts, please refer to the following link:

    Hi Michael

You can click on 'View Help PDF' on the upper right corner (just above Adobe logo) in the link provided by Mike :

    http://help.adobe.com/en_US/framemaker/using/index.html

It opens the corresponding PDF from which you can print the desired pages.

Also there is a 'FrameMaker keyboard shortcuts - ready reckoner' blog with a mind map of these shortcuts at :

    http://blogs.adobe.com/tcs/2011/02/framemaker/framemaker-keyboard-shortcuts-a-ready-reckoner.html

It may be useful to you.

Also you had mentioned in your earlier post that 'Accept All is useless'.

May I know why do you think its useless - any bad experiences?

Thank you! There is the tool bar. i have overlooked this.

    Additionally Question:

Do you know an overall list for shortcuts in Framemaker? Found an old list (5.5.6) from an external source (daube.ch) and this is very helpful.

The fragmented list from adobe-help is not really nice...
