track text edits in FrameMaker 12 jumps whenever text is accepted or rejected

Is there a way to prevent this? Sometimes I want to accept a single instance of tracked text, and I don't want it to jump to the next tracked text edit. I want it to stay exactly where it is. Is there a way to do this?

Which specific function are you using to accept/reject an edit?

There are multiple modes available (see Manage_track_text_edits ): Accept/Reject & Show Next; Accept/Reject; Show Next/Previous; Accept/Reject All. There are corresponding buttons on the button bar for these as well.

It sounds like your using Accept and Show Next, so you need to use just the Accept Edit function for a single instance when you don 't want to move to the next one.

You are right. I was just hitting the first button on the toolbar. In Frame 10, perhaps that was just the Accept/Reject buttons? I just migrated over to 12 and I didn't even notice those little arrows.

In any case, thank you for the enlightenment!
