Hi All,

I am unable to print the Book because one of the Chapter has Unavailable Fonts issue.

How can I find those Text or Paragraph that uses unavailable fonts???

It is only one page document, and I reapplied Paragraph Tags to all the lines, yet I have not been able to figure this one out.

Thanks.

Open all files in the book first. This will force FM to make font substitutions (usually it's a Times vs Times-Roman issue). You can use the Fonts & Replace Fonts pods to make permanent fixes in more recent versions of FM.

But what if I actually *do* have all of the required fonts, and I still get the message that the file uses unavailable fonts, and it prevents me from generating and updating the book? I'm using Frame12.

The Font pod lists all of the fonts used in the file, and I have gone through and permanently replaced any outliers, and all of the fonts are installed (and available from the Frame font list) and I *still* can't generate and update my file.

Help!

This is my Font pod -- all is as it should be. This is how it appears for every file in the book.

This is my Book Error Report. What font is "unavailable"?? I can't update my book because of this problem!

Open all of the files in the book first and accept that there are missing fonts. Then you can update your book and create output.

When you open the files, the console window will indicate which font is missing for the specific file.

Thanks Arnis,

Fonts Pod clearly shows all the Fonts Used; it also marks Missing Fonts.

This is a great tool for the issue I have had.
