I have inherited a Frame 8 book with many files, is there a way to update all of the files to Frame 11 in just a few steps? Could this be done in ExtendScript?

Correct answer Arnis Gubins

1. Open the book file.

2. Shift key and then select File > Open All Files in book

3. Deal with any warnings/errors that come up (you can turn off the reminders about opening an older version)

4. Put the focus back to the book file.

5. Shift and then select File > Save All Files in the book (this will save in FM11 format)

6. Shift and then select File > Close All Files in the book.

7. Save the book file (it will be converted to FM11).

Done.
