Can anyone tell me if I can upgrade my FM 11 license for PC to FM 12 for MAC?  Or do I need to buy all new software license.

    Hi There,

    You can upgrade from FM11 to FM12 for Windows platform only as Framemaker is not available for Mac platform.

    FM is only provided as a Windows product now. The last MacOS release was 7.0 for OS8/9, according to wiki.

    To run FM on a Mac after that requires an emulation environment, so that it thinks it's operating on Windows. Given that, I would expect the normal FM11-12 upgrade path and discount to be available. Install your FM11 on the Mac. Upgrade it.
