What is backwards compatibility of Framemaker 2015

Just started using Framemaker again for a new contract and client has Framemaker 2012. Is version 2015 backwards compatible to this version?

    You mean FM12? You can do as Save As to FM12 (as long as you don’t expect any new FM2015 features to be there) or go the MIF route.
