Why does Graphics Toolbar continually reset itself?

I have used FM since version 5, but since FM9, the Graphics Toolbar continually resets itself to the defaults so that you need to constantly set the various tools that you use the way that you want them (color RED, line 3pt, line with arrow at one end, etc).

Is this a bug? Or is there a way to make it stay the way that you set it? I use this Toolbar all through the work day, and it gets very irritating to have to constantly change how I want it.

The Graphics Toolbar settings are session level properties and reset back to the defaults when you close FM. It's always had this behaviour. I just checked v.6, v.7.2 and v.8 of FM.

The problem is that it constantly resets itself during the same session. I would understand if it reset itself when you close FM and reopened it. So why will the Graphics Toolbar not hold how I set it during a session? Having to do it 10-20 times a day is unbelievably irritating.

This has been the case since FM9, and I'm now using FM12. I was hoping that this "bug" would have been fixed, but it hasn't. Also, it's not the computer because I've had multiple computers over the years, so the issue is with FM.

I haven't seen it reset in any of my sessions, but I haven't been using it all day lately. Have you noticed under what conditions (or FM operations, like closing/saving a file, switching workspaces, etc.) that these resets happen in a session?
