Wingdings font issue in FM (from 7.2 to 9)

I have problem with Wingdings font in several FM projects - because of unknow reason on some machines symbols from Wingdings appears incorrectly (i.e "hand" appears instead of "arrow"). Obviously exactly same font is instaled on both machines and same FM versions are installed too (including all possible updates from Adobe). Did you ever found such issue? Any idea how to fix it? Thanks.

    What operating system (presumably Windows) version?

    32 or 64-bits?

    What Service Pack.

    Is this actually Microsoft Wingdings, or Zapf Dingbats? Where did the font files come from?

    I see traffic in this forum related to an MS hotfix for a PostScript rendering problem, and an Adobe font cache problem, that might be related to your issue.

    Problems with rendering never had anything to do with “an Adobe font cache problem” – there never was such a problem. What is true is that deleting the Windows font cache and rebooting helped temporarily mask the bug in Windows that the Microsoft hot fix resolved.
