WMFs not showing up in HTML5 output

My colleague is using unstructured Frame version 13.0.5.547. He used the option to convert graphics and tables from absolute to relative and exported a book to HTML5 in FrameMaker. The WMF graphics imported by reference don't show up in the HTML file. There are blank spaces in their place. The other graphics/photos are JPEGs and they come in fine.

It's not a matter of Fm nor HTML5...if you want to provide vector images in something other than a PDF, you need SVG. If you're ok with your images being bitmaps, not vectors, you can have them convert upon conversion.

WMF isn't a web format, so if you want vector images, you should be placing SVG, and if you're ok with bitmaps, save as JPG/PNG, depending on your image.

We have thousands of documents with WMF files in them, so it sounds like HTML5 is a no go for us then.

Is there any way to batch convert WMF to SVG? Even if we did that, would we have to re-import every single one into every document?
