Workspaces missing in FM12

I have the standalone FM 12 running in unstructured mode on WIndows 7. I created a few custom workspaces and have been using those and some of the built-in workspaces. Today I was working in a book file and noticed that the Workspace somehow changed to "None." and all the workspaces are missing from the dropdown menu. Any idea how I can get my Workspaces back?

Thanks.

Boy do I feel dumb. . .  I didn't have any fm files open, only the book. There are no workspaces for book files. Once I opened a file, everything was back to normal.

Good to know that you figured it out – the workspace files can be migrated from version to version just by copying and pasting in Explorer.

They should be in the hidden file C:\Users\[user_name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\FrameMaker\[version]\WorkSpaces

I found the files there (…WorkSpaces\WYSIWYGView). There are .cfws files for Authoring, Blank, Manage Graphics, Review, and the one I created called Revisions. But there is also one called Revisions.fws. (is that to be expected?)

How do I get FrameMaker to see these files?

    Thanks for the help.
