Is it possible to access alternate glyphs on Fresco?

I purchased a font/typeface with multiple alternate letters and I don't know how to access them. Any tips?

Hello @Vibeqt,

Thanks for reaching out. At this time, adding your own fonts is only available on Fresco on the iPad/iPhone. Would you mind trying the suggestions shared in this help article (https://adobe.ly/48PG626) and checking if it helps? Once added, your fonts should be available across all Creative Cloud services.

Feel free to reach out if you have more questions or need assistance. We'd be happy to help.

Thanks,
Anubhav

This is not and answer to the question, I guess. I read the text in the link, but couldn't find anything about alternate glyphs. I have the same problem. Did you allready find a solution Vibeqt?

Hi @misnix,

I understand how frustrating this can be! Unfortunately, Fresco doesn’t have a Glyphs panel, so there’s no direct way to access alternate characters like you would in Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign.

I haven’t personally tested this, but you could try this workaround: If you’ve installed and activated all the font variations (e.g., different weights or styles) but still can’t access alternates, it’s because Fresco doesn’t support OpenType features like alternate glyphs. A possible solution is to type the text in Photoshop (or another app that supports glyphs), select the alternate characters, and then bring that text into Fresco. Also, Fresco supports PSD files.

Let me know if you need help with the workaround!

Best,
