Apple Pencil double tap ignoring settings?

I have my pencil double tap settings set to 'slowest', but in fresco it always flips over to eraser (which I chose it to do) without me even tapping my pencil, it does it so much that it's actually a hinderance now... it seems that fresco is ignoring the setting altogether.

We understand that encountering technical issues can be frustrating. Would you mind checking if all of your work is synced online (https://assets.adobe.com/cloud-documents)? If yes, kindly try deleting the app, restarting your iPad, and then reinstalling Fresco to check if it helps. Also, kindly check if all iPadOS updates are installed and share your observations.
