Apple Pencil input is a millimeter off

When I draw in Fresco, the input location seems to be about a millimeter away from my apple pencil point. So: when I draw a line, it'll be 1mm next to my pencil point. I don't have this problem on the same device with the same pen in ProCreate. I have an iPad Air 5 and an 2nd generation Apple Pencil. The problem drives me crazy because it really interupts my workflow! My linework keeps going wrong. I'd switch back to ProCreate for this reason if it wasn't for the animation features Fresco has that I need so much.

I already tried replacing my pencil point, it didn't help.
