Question

Areas out of the canvas

Hi, How can I prevent areas that I move outside the bounds of the canvas from being cut off?

For example, if I have a plate in my illustration and I move it to the edge, it is cut and if I later want to move it further in, it is already cut. How do I prevent clipping when it exits the canvas?

Thank you for your help.

You can't really in Fresco as the canvas is the end of everything. It's working like an actual canvas (with benefits).
The only thing I would do is extend the canvas accordingly, draw a frame on a separate layer, so you can visualise your final size bounds (and you could lock it to avoid the risk of moving it) and move your different elements outside of the frame so it serves as a temporary storage area as you'd do in Illustrator. (Or maybe that's just me who does that 🙂 )

When everything is in place, crop the final artwork to the size of your frame, delete the frame layer, and you're good to go.

It is a good idea, I will apply it, thank you very much, although it would
be ideal if it could be done like in photoshop, if you take something to
the edge, it is not cut until you apply the Crop Marks instruction. Thanks
again.

Yes, it would 🙂
I don't think that out of consideration in future versions though, just like artboards will probably appear at some point.
