Best workflow for creating full spread illustrations for children's book I'm designing in Id.

Hi. In the past, I illustrated and designed a number of print books with Ai, Ps and Id. Now for the first time, I am excited to be using Fresco, Apple Pencil and iPad to create the many full spread illustrations of a children's book I'm designing in InDesign. It seems Fresco lacks the ability to set up bleed and gutter ruler measurements like Ai, Ps and Id, so I'm a bit confused about how to see what I need on the Fresco files while drawing and painting. I began thinking I may need to first create a blank template spread with a trim mark layer in Ps and import it to Fresco to then draw and paint. Does that sound right or is there a better work flow to accomplish this goal of creating full spread illustrations for children's print book designed in InDesign? I so appreciate any kind help. Thanks very much.

Thanks for your reply but you did not read my question carefully enough to see that I said I'm designing them in design and illustrating them in Fresco.

The issue has to do with needing the floor spread illustrations to accommodate a gutter white strip required by the publisher printer Ingram spark. But never mind because I figured out how to work with us by creating an InDesign template with that white strip marked off by guides and then importing a screenshot of it into Fresco. So I solved my issue. But thanks for replying since you are the only one who did. God bless!

Since I solve the problem I'm now trying to figure out how to mark this issue was resolved. Here on my phone I don't see it.  ?

Fresco is a drawing/painting app NOT a layout/publishing app. InDesign is your layout/publishing app. Draw your images in Fresco (I assume you know the size of the page required) then export them then add them to InDesign and that's where your bleeds and everything else associated with printing needs to be.
