Can’t print directly from Fresco with Airprint

I just got a Canon Pixma G5020 printer to print documents from Adobe Fresco. I can go throught the motions - Export, file type, Print, print settings. When all is set I click the Print button and the dialog goes away as if it worked, but nothing prints, and printer still says Ready to Print. 

I've successfully printed from other apps like Photos and Procreate, so the problem is Fresco. I know I can export to camera roll or PDF, but my desire is just to be able to quickly print a draft from Fresco. Anyone have this issue?

I did just print successfully from Fresco for iPhone, so at least I have a workaround without having to change apps.

Would you mind sharing more details, like the exact iPad model you are using, the version of the iPadOS/Fresco installed, and whether you are able to AirPrint from other Adobe apps on your iPad so that we can investigate this further?

Hello

 

I'm using latest version of everything

iPad Pro 11" 256 gb current gen

Fresco 4.4.2

ipad os 16.4.1

 

And yes, if I open the same files in Illustrator for iPad it prints fine. I've tried with several files, all the same.
