Wat format do I select to achieve large printable canvases?

If you're sending it somewhere to be printed the general preference I believe is 300ppi. Or 150ppi as a minimum.

If you're tossing up between ppi and ppcm, keep in mind ppi is pixels per inch while ppcm is pixels per centimetre. Sending a file at 300ppcm will create an unnecessarily large file.
