The PC Version of Fresco seems to have more crashes than usual. I am used to drawing slower on my devices to allow Fresco to catch up, but now the crashes are happening more than usual.
I am on the latest version of Fresco on the Surface Pro 11 and on the ASUS Zenbook Duo. Here is a clip of Fresco crashing twice within 10 mins during my stream.

Around the 24 min mark. https://www.youtube.com/live/wajlx1Hsu8c?si=Z9k6_JgUxnvkG99T&t=1441
Second time at the around the 30 min mark. https://www.youtube.com/live/wajlx1Hsu8c?si=mLLeH0bZKlziAO0T&t=1871

I know Fresco on Snapdragon is missing a few features and may be unstable one year after the release of the new Surface, but the ASUS is an Intel Ultra 7 at Best Performance under the Power Mode settings and that it the device that crashed today, two times in less than 10 minutes.
It’s hard to brag on Fresco when the windows version is frustrating to draw with.

ASUS Zenbook Duo
Intel Core Ultra 7 3.80 Ghz
32 GB RAM
1TB
Fresco 5.5.5

Hello @dacreativegenius,

Would you mind checking for any pending OS updates and installing them (https://adobe.ly/4hnluS0) to check if it helps?

Also, kindly reinstall the GPU drivers (Intel / NVIDIA / AMD) and set the Graphics Preference to High-Performance for Fresco (https://adobe.ly/4itSGsk) and check if it helps.

Additionally, check if all of your work is synced online (https://adobe.ly/4ij1JfG). If yes, please try resetting Fresco (https://adobe.ly/3FjAMKr...) and share your observations.

If the issue persists, kindly share the logs by following the steps shared in this help article (https://adobe.ly/3FsBQLQ) so we can check it with the team.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I need to check these messages more often. Sorry about that.

No change in Fresco behavior. Actuall I think vector brushes have started to glitch recently.

Surface Pro 11 has an AMD processor called Snapdragon.

My art is in sync. no issues there
I do not have any logs to share becuase I am usually streaming when drawing on the Surface and I do not have time besides apologizing for the crash and restarting the app.

I am open to a QA session to narrow down the crashes and glitches to help bring Fresco to normal operation as it works on iPad. Please let me kinow.

I have brought up these issues and video evidence to the Prerelease slack also.
please pass it on.

Thank you.

Thanks so much for following up and sharing video evidence — that’s incredibly helpful.

We want to take a closer look at the crashes you’re experiencing in Fresco. To help the team investigate further, could you please:

1. Upload Crash Dump Files

Head to this folder on your PC: C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Adobe.Fresco<app id>\AC\Dumps
Keep the crash folder open while working in Fresco if you don't see any crash dumps. When a crash happens, immediately check if a crash dump file appears in the folder.

2. Generate Adobe Logs

Use the Adobe Log Collector Tool: https://adobe.ly/4jlS74p.

Zip all the logs and dumps and upload to Google Drive, Dropbox, or another file-sharing service, and share the link here.

3. Note the Time of Crashes

Let us know the exact times of recent crashes (or timestamps if it occurred during your stream). This will help correlate with the logs.

Once we have this data, we’ll share it with the engineering team to investigate what’s happening. Thanks again for your patience and your offer to collaborate—we really appreciate your help improving Fresco on Windows!

Best,

Anshul Saini
