CPU runs super hot when running Fresco. Suggestions on how to fix this issue.
I am running Fresco on a Device name
WIndows Surface Studio 3 Laptop with the below specs.
Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-13700H (2.90 GHz)
Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable)
Graphics card NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada Generation Laptop GPU (8 GB)
Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics (128 MB)
Storage 772 GB of 954 GB used
Device ID 7BD80050-2B3E-43C3-91E2-C5431FD126AF
Product ID 00356-06317-33104-AAOEM
System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch Pen and touch support with 10 touch points
Whenever I open and run Fresco the CPU heats up and when I have run HWinfo the sensors have detected that the CPU heats up past a safe threshold. Even holding the machine I can feel how hot it gets. The machine is able to run modern games without overheating, but Fresco seems to quickly push it into possible danger and unless I am almost always checking how hot the case is getting I can’t tell or am unaware until it begins to lag. How can I fix this overheating issue, as primarily it only happens with Fresco and an move the machine into tablet mode.
Affinity doesn’t cause such a huge heat spike, but I have been using Fresco longer and it has touch gestures that Affinity does not. Any help would be much appreciated.
