Desktop: Secondary state touch shortcut or vector trim shortcut

Does anyone know if there is a way to engage the secondary state of the touch when using Fresco on desktop? A number of people have asked this but the answer is always use the ` key, but this only engages the primary touch state. I'm just interested in being able to trim vector lines, so if there is another way to do this on desktop that would great as well. There is nothing listed on the link below how to do it.

and in the unlikely event that someone from adobe reads this, shift-` seems like an absolutely fantastic and intuitive solution.

the only way I found to get around this is by presing shift + ` and the clicking on the outer ring to lock that function. What I'm finish I press again ` and deactivate it.

I'm not entirely sure how it works on the desktop version,  but on the iPad version,  its if you double tap the touch ring.
