Does Illustrator have to be closed initially to open an editable file exported from Fresco?

Hello @tanyar47513096,

Thanks for reaching out. As suggested by Imaginerie, your work from Fresco will Sync to your computer regardless of whether Illustrator is open or not. If, however, you are having trouble with your files from Fresco not showing up on Illustrator on your computer, try the following steps and check if it helps:

  • Close all Adobe applications.
  • Open the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application, click on the profile picture at the top right corner, and choose the option to Sign Out.
  • Sign back into Creative Cloud
  • Open Illustrator

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav

No, I tested both for another user question, and it does work both when open and closed, either for illustrator for desktop, or illustrator on Ipad (if you're using Fresco on Ipad)

Be mindful though, that the sharing of Fresco files to Illustrator can be a bit long. It's all synced on the cloud and can take a few minutes for bigger files (that's my experience)
