Extreme lag on Fresco

Hi there.

I'm working on Adobe Fresco (newest version of the app) on a brand new iPad (next to no storage space used) but I'm experiencing an extreme lag with every action I take on Fresco. How do I fix this? I have to wait about 3 minutes after each action, even after each zoom.
