File randomly changed—can’t access my drawing

Hi! I tried clicking into one of my files to continue drawing, but it wasn’t able to load up. An error message popped up saying “unsupported file type.” I created that canvas in fresco, opened and closed it multiple times, and didn’t upload any pictures or such that would cause this problem. The file just changed out of nowhere and now I can’t access it anymore. is there anything that can be done?

Some more detail: 

I was in the middle of drawing when the “insufficient iPad storage” tab popped up, so I switched my tab to go clear some up. When I clicked back on fresco, instead of opening up to the canvas, it opened up to the Home Screen with the “new updates” pop-up. After that, the “file not supported” message showed up when I tried to get into the drawing again. Please help.
