Fresco brush libraries and syncing is a mess
I've tried everything-- Updating to ios17--reinstalling the Creative Cloud app--reinstalling Fresco--restarting the iPad several times
Nothing works concerning adding new pixel brushes or retaining them in the library.
Annnnnnnd....once you do get them to load, they often lock up, causing you to have to restart the program..... losing all the imported brush libraries, and to make things more confusing, sometimes they all show up, then they don't when reopening again
Using an imported brush will also sometimes cause it to lock up.
It seems that when I'm not connected to the internet, the app shows all the libraries fine, except a lot of the brushes are not downloaded. WTF? It's just a library filled with gray, not downloadable brushes.
I load brushes from import files, and they show up, but once the app is shut down and reopened, ALL the brush libraries are gone except the ones included with the app.
It's a complete mess when comes to brushes. I'm beyond frustrated at this point. I spent time setting the app up, getting brush libraries established, and organizing for a road trip where I could work on my iPad while away from my desktop using familiar brushes, only to sit in a hotel trying to get work done, and all those brushes were gone. They are not on the cloud either. I do have those brushes downloaded to the iPad, on my icloud files and I reloaded it, but that's frustrating doing it over and over.
After checking these forums, I see I'm not the only one with this issue, and it seems to have been an issue for months now with no resolution besides the Adobe techs telling the community, "It works on our end"
The program works fine using the included brushes, but that is not what most need or want.
This problem definitely has something to do with CC syncing and being online or off.
I'm going back to procreate for the time being, and I'm sure many will be doing the same.
Adobe, get your act together. Fix this problem. If you can't fix it, announce it's a problem so we don't waste our time trying to use something that is not working.
After working in Adobe programs since 1991, I hope you step up and resolve these issues quickly.
I need another cup of coffee.
