Fresco crashes every time I try to pick live brush

Ever since I downloaded Fresco last summer, Fresco has crashed every time I tried to use the oil paint. I could maybe get a few strokes in and, immediately, it crashes. This was annoying but I really only needed the watercolor live brushes for my illustration work and I never had a problem with those. 

 

But then, a couple of days ago, I opened a new document and as soon as I selected live brush, Fresco crashed. I had been putting off an update for a while so I thought that might be the problem. I took care of the update but the same thing happened. I've tried restarting my laptop, closing out all other apps/search engines/etc. I'm using a Lenovo Yoga 7i.

how big is the file and what size of brush are you using?

Happens with every file size--I can pull up a blank 300 ppi document and as soon as I hit live brush it crashes. The brush size was set at 90 but I did manage to change it to 4 the one time when things seemed to be working again so now it's set at 4, but still closes immediately after I select live brush.

First thing to check is your system requirements. If your system has all specs above and beyond what Fresco requires to run I'd go through the app and send an actual bug report. Things crashing is not something other users can generally assist with and often points to an issue for the developers to work out. So if you go to App Settings > Help > Report a bug, you'll have an email open which contains details about your system. Send a message regarding what occurs and as much other detail regarding what you're doing when it happens as you think is appropriate.

Thanks for your reply! As far as I can tell, my system meets the requirements. I've sent a report and am waiting on a response.
