Fresco frozen

Fresco is frozen.  I posted on this forum about this and I got a helpful reply but I'm not sure what they mean when they say 'turn the app off'.  I'm computer basic sorry

Best to continue replying in the same thread rather than create a new thread each time, specially if it is associated with the comments from another discussion. Turning the app off, means to close the program down. If you're on a computer that would be to click the cross in the top right corner of the program(app).

Where is the reply though. Fresco is frozen. If I close the app will it be recovered. It's a whole day of work
