Question

Fresco Grid 0 on the x and y axis

Hi,

My grid does not start at 0 on the x and y axis. Any ideas how to change that please? Chat GPT says there is "Set the "Offset" values to 0 for both the x and y axis." but I can't find this. Many thanks.

Hello Declan, there is no X and Y scale for grids in Fresco, take it like just a square lined sheet of paper.

See the different settings available here:

you can however change the points of a perspective grid by choosing "edit vanishing points"

but still wthout a scale (X and Y) attached...

I don't think ChatGPT is good enough to know what's inside Fresco based on its answer 🙂

OK great thanks.

But when I say X Y - I mean Width and Height.

Lets say:

- I have a page that is 1000 PX Wide and 1000 PX in length.

- I want a grid that is made up of 100px squares

- 10 across

- 10 down

- The first and last grid on the square is, say 50 pixels wide

- So I am not getting 10 equal squares in the grid

I want the first squares to be 100x100 and start at the 0 - 0 Point on the canvas.

Can we do that?

thanks again

(Just joking about ChatGPT really. )

Like this? Document size 1000 x 1000, grid changed to 100px. It seems to work.
