Fresco is slow on my Windows Surface Pro 6

On my Windows Surface Pro 6 computer, Fresco runs very slowly. It doesn't matter what I'm doing, whether I'm drawing or simply selecting options in the interface. Whatever I do, there is a delayed response.

For example, if I select a brush and draw with it, I can draw a stroke, and it takes a second or two for the stroke to appear. If I quickly draw three strokes, then after a couple seconds, three strokes will appear. If I select a new color in any brushe's color selector, it takes a while for the color sliders to update.

My device should be more than sufficient to run this softwere. Is there some setting I need to adjust to make it run smoothly?
