Question

Fresco keeps erasing everything in my animations

This has happened at least three times now - I'm trying to create an animation in Adobe Fresco on my iPad, maybe about 20 or 30 frames long, when the app suddenly crashes. This happens all the time and I can deal with it, but it also hides every single layer and erases everything on it, including the background and all... the frames... of my animations... effectively killing hours of work for seemingly no reason... Additionally, it turns the screen entirely black and prevents me from being able to edit this project anymore. Also, if I bin this afterwards, it becomes unrecoverable.

How do I make it not do this??? Is there any way I can get it back??????

Hello @ThatNerdyHylian,

We understand how frustrating it can be to experience technical issues in Fresco, especially in the middle of work. Would you mind updating the OS and the Fresco app to the latest version and checking if it helps?

Also, kindly check if all of your work is synced online (https://adobe.ly/3tBM4Ea). If yes, try deleting Fresco, restarting your device, and then reinstalling the app to check if it helps.

If the issue persists, kindly share more details, like the exact version of the OS/Fresco, your iPad device model, and a screen recording of the problem (https://adobe.ly/3NQVCCb), so we can investigate this further.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks,

Anubhav
