Question

Fresco motion animation - stop on last frame?

Is it possible to make an animation in Fresco stop on the final frame? I'm trying to illustrate a growing plant, but I don't want it to loop forever. I want it to stop once the plant is fully grown. Thank you.

Did anyone get a solution for this?  I have the same problem.  I have an animation of a hat dropping onto a head and rather than stop the hat goes back to the start of the path.  I have chosen play once, which it technically does but i don't want it to go back to the start of the path

I have realised that when you play the video it only plays once - not sure why I didn't think to check that first

Yeah if you have on the loop, it'll continue to loop if you want to stop you need to make sure it goes only once also, if you wanted to hold for a long time, add more of the last frame to hold the animation longer but most of the time people that make animations in Adobe Fresco are making kind of like GIF type stuff that loop anyways.

Hey @suecarroll1,

I’m sorry you’re running into this issue! Have you tried the suggestion from Imaginerie above to set the animation to “Play Once” in the settings? If that doesn’t solve it, could you share your file with us so we can take a closer look?

Also, please confirm your Fresco version, system specs, device model, and OS version—this will help us troubleshoot more effectively.

Looking forward to helping you out!

Best,

You can set it up not to loop in the animation settings: see screenshot

just choose "play once" and it shouldn't loop.

I have a similar issue where I have an element falling into screen then stopping, but it keeps looping even though I have it set to play once, and the number of times is set to 1. The background is at a slower speed and that plays in its entirety, but the falling element keeps looping rather than stopping after it's finished its path.
