Fresco sketch pencil lag

For the last week or so, the sketch pencil brush in Fresco has had a delay/lag issue. All the other brushes that I've tried seem to work fine, with no lag, but the sketch pencil has an 1/8 inch lag/delay. I've looked at the brushes individual settings with no positive results. It's a really nice brush and I'd like to fix the problem. Any thoughts?
