Freso on iPad: Place checkerboard (transparency )pattern on white

The checkerd pattern interferes with illustration on a white background.

It would be great, if i could swich it to white.

I'm confused,  did you make the background layer invisible?  that's the only thing I can think of when a checkered pattern shows up.  It normally wouldn't show up as a default.  If anything,  you could create an all white layer,  then create the illustration on a layer above that.
