Gesture controls using screenless drawing tablet (Intuos Pro M) ridiculously unintuitive

Hello,

I've been enjoying Fresco on a Microsoft Surface for many years where I can effortlessly zoom, pan, and rotate using intuitive two-finger gesture controls. I upgraded to a PC without a touchscreen and am trying to use my Wacom Intuos Pro M to do the same functions, but Fresco is not responding in the same way. Zooming and rotating are unusably sluggish/broken and two-finger panning is impossible. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Thanks.
