Help requested: Image layers in fresco vs sketch?

Hi Community-

Wondering about image layers in fresco during this transition from Sketch. When I add a layer in fresco, and use the left hand image icon to grab a photo, it brings it in but makes it so I can't see the original layer below. (Even though it's not hidden).  Vs in adobe sketch when it would just bring it in and you could see what's underneath. Does anyone know how to fix this so it's more like the sketch way where you can add the photo layer right on?  Thank you!

It's not a case of fixing Fresco as it is working as designed, if you want Fresco to be more like another app you'll have to join the many others asking for Fresco to replicate Sketch, Draw, Procreate etc rather than being it's own app. To do that, head over to the Fresco UserVoice page which you can access via the app through the Request a feature link within Help in App Settings.
