Question

How can I enable more placing options?

Hello everybody,

currently I can Place: Camera, Files, and Libraries.

I've seen some people have also options of Photos and Creative Cloud.

Looks like Photos placing generates color palette, it would be great to have it.

Any idea how I can enable more placing options?

Hi @NinaRa,

It sounds like you’re looking to enable more placing options, specifically for photos and Creative Cloud. To clarify, the Creative Cloud option has reached its end of life, as the Creative Cloud File service has been discontinued, so it is no longer an option in recent versions of the app.

However, you can enable the Photos option by following these steps:

1. Go to your iOS Settings.

2. Navigate to Apps > Adobe Fresco.

3. Under Photos, make sure to select Add Photos instead of None.

If you don’t see that option, as you have a Teams account, I recommend reaching out to your admin to contact Adobe support through the Admin Console.

Let me know if this helps!

Best,

Hi Anshul.

I am using Fresco on my PC which has Windows OS.

What would be instructions for adding Photos to the Place menu on Windows?

Thank you for your anwser!

Hey @NinaRa,

Sorry for the delayed response!

On Windows, the “Photos” option isn’t available like it is on iOS, but you can still place images manually:

1. Click on Files under the Place image menu.

2. This will open your File Explorer—navigate to the image you want to import.

3. Select the file, and it will be placed in your Fresco canvas.

Are you trying to import a specific image that isn’t placing? Let me know, and I can help troubleshoot further!

Also, attaching a short tutorial video showing how to do this on Windows.

Hope that helps!

Best,
