How can i see the brush i was using in each layer?

I don't think there is a way to view this information. Sounds like a really helpful idea though.
I'd suggest you leave a suggestion on the Fresco Uservoice page.
There is of course the icon on each layer indicating what type of brush was used but it doesn't give you the specific settings or switch to that brush when you select each used layer.
