Hi, trying to layer, but images are not opaque. How to make that happen?

Can you send a screenshot so we can understan it better. Are you drawing with a brush that as an opacity level to it? blending Mode? We need more inforamtion

Sorry not clear. I'm illustrating a children's book. I want to use layers to use backgrounds with different characters. My character is see through.

Were your characters drawn with reduced opacity? Because otherwise, they should be opaque.

A screenshot would be really helpful.

I'm sorry, I'm not understanding your question. Are you trying to fill a layer with opaque color? Or something else?
