How to paste a section from one frame to another frame when animating

Question

I realised I needed to copy a part of one frame to another frame. When I tried doing so, I cannot figure out how to do it without creating a new frame. I want to paste it on top of an existing frame, and there isn’t a way to merge frames. How do I do that? I searched around and couldn’t figure out how to do it.
