Increasing pixels for large prints

I need to increase the Pixels in some files so they are big enough for red bubble purchases. They are vector based with watercolor layers. I'm assuming I have to just use vector, somehow increase the Pixel count, then recolor. Is that the way or is there a quicker or easier way? Will this process retain the quality? Thanks in advance
