Just lost hours of work on a commission help

I saved my work before closing out the app earlier today and when I opened the file to continue working on it a version from over 24 hours ago opened instead. I've just easily lost six hours of work on a commission that has a deadline fast approaching and there's no helpful information about how to recover this available. Please help.

This just happened to me. I spent about 45 minutes on adobe chat only to have the agent repeat the problem back to me numerous times and tell me it should be working. I clicked save over thirty times working on a file this morning and when the agent had me go view version history none of the saves were there. Every time I asked for an answer I got a rephrasing that the files should be there... check again. I have to be honest and say this is kinda the last straw for me and Fresco. The only answer I ever get is "that's weird it should be working." I find this to be the problem with everything being cloud based now. When something goes wrong, you will be hard pressed to find someone who can even identify the problem. I can only be told to uninstall and reinstall so many times before it just seems the product doesn't work. And I have a hard time continuing to use the product knowing when something goes wrong again I'm really only going to get a shoulder shrug from Adobe.

This very same thing happened to me! No program crash or anything, just regular saves for a long time and then the next time opening the document - older version. 

I managed to at least get a screenshot of all of my previous work by exporting a time lapse video. All the work was there until the last second when it all disappeared. 

I sent a bug report from within Fresco but they haven't gotten back to me. My guess is neither you nor I will get our work back but at least maybe the screenshot trick can help you out as you re-do all the lost work. 😕😕

Go into App Settings > Help > Report a Bug and send an email directly to the developers, they are in the best position to help solve an issue such as this.

Thank you. When I try to do as you suggested I’m told there’s no account
connected to Fresco and that I need to connect an email account despite
being signed in to both the app and Creative Cloud.

Is there another way to do this?
