Question

Live Brush support on larger canvas (surface pro 8)

I read before that sizes above 4000x4000 require greater than 4GB of RAM- my surface pro 8 has 16GB of RAM, yet can only manage to use live brushes below 4096x4096 resolution.

Am I missing something, or could Adobe add support for using live brushes on larger canvases for these devices?

Thanks.

Live brushes work on Windows 10 on a large scale canvas.

Check the System Requirements in case there's more than just the RAM requirements.

Thanks for your time, unfortunately you didn't answer my question.

I'm using windows 11 Pro, and my Surface Pro 8 device satisfies or exceeds the recommended requirements:

16GB RAM vs 8GB recommended

Intel integrated graphics (intel i7 1185G7) with DX 12 (including feature 12_1)

I can get it to work (live brushes on large canvas) on my desktop PC, my question is regarding why my well-specced surface pro 8 device doesn't have this support (yet)?

Not working as of 2022.03.29
