Question

missing or incomplete Libraries

Hello,

On my IPad when I open creative cloud I can see and access all of my CC libraries.  When trying to use the libraries in Fresco the libraries tab only shows incomplete or missing libraries.  What should I do to fix this?

Many Thanks.

I don't necessarily have a solution as of now, but just pointing out a few things I have noticed and experienced myself
Not all libraries are readable by Fresco.

So basically, Brushes and colours and that' it (and images that can be pasted), the rest (vector files, fonts, non-compatible brushes and patterns won't show in their respective Libraries folders)
If you got complex brushes and/or a big library of brushes (Kyle's megapack, I am looking at you) it will take ages to load, and that's absolutely normal. You need to wait until they're all loaded, and yes it can take hours depending on your connection. (And it's waaaaaay faster on my windows desktop than on the Ipad, that's why I only loaded the megapack on my Computer's fresco). You need to scroll for them to load, wait until the thumbnail show the brush and it's loaded, then move on to another library.

Try to create a simple colour scheme library (for example with photoshop or adobe capture) with say 10 or so colours and see if it works. It should be very fast, and they definitely should show.

Same with images, as long as they're not gigantic.

for the brushes that are not supported, they won't show in the list, but you can have a reminder here at the bottom of the list:

They can be used in Photoshop, but not Fresco.

If you want to post a more detailled explanation about your issue (which libraries are faulty etc..) and some screenshot, maybe there is a solution out there!

This is a problem I also have had for at least a year. I spent the better part of a day with someone from Adobe, who never provided anything more than "that's strang" and a false promise that "someone would get back to me." I patiently had to repeat all the basic troubleshooting steps for this support person, and I allowed them access to my files, etc., to no avail.

I had begun to believe this is one of those issues that I, alone out of all Adobe users, was suffering alone. The workaround for me was to use Procreate, but I'd still like to have access to my CC Libraries as I'm paying for, so if two of us make it worth it to Adobe, I'll be happy.

BTW--despite the typos, snarky attitude, and bad writing in my post, I'm really not difficult to work with (for any lurking Adobe support persons who might be inclined to help.)  😁

Hello @SeedyGee,

Hello, we're sorry for the trouble. It looks like we need to troubleshoot this on a live session. Please head here (https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html?rghtup=autoOpen) and select the chat button in the lower-right corner of the page. We can help troubleshoot faster that way.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Hello @BTU485,

We are sorry to hear about this experience. Would you mind sharing some more details about the problem, like the type of files that do not show up in your libraries in Fresco, the exact version of the OS/Fresco, and a screen recording of the problem (https://support.apple.com/guide/ipad/take-a-screenshot-or-screen-recording-ipad08a40f3b/ipados) so that we can investigate this further?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Anubhav
