My layer is stuck on low opacity - cannot adjust

Question

I've been working on a painting when all of a sudden one of my layers turned the opacity way down, and now it says it's at 100% and I can't change it back. Already checked the blend mode is normal and I don't have any masks turned on. Not sure what to do... I don't want to lose all my progress!

That sounds frustrating! Sometimes, Fresco can glitch with opacity settings. Try this first: restart the app to see if it resets the layer controls. If that doesn’t work, duplicate the layer; sometimes the copy behaves normally. You can also try creating a new layer above and painting over it if needed. Don’t worry, your original work is safe, and these steps usually help fix the opacity issue without losing progress.
