New User Fresco Question

I am new to fresco but not adobe products. I'm trying to use it as a digital coloring book app. How do I prevent the colors from building on top of each other? I've tried different opacities and layer settings. Thanks for the help!

I think the answer to this might rely on which brush you are using. For example if you're using the pixel brush you can turn on/off paint inside. With live brushes you can also set paint mix to 0 which stops them blending. These options at the bottom of the tools panel might help achieve your desired results.
