[Performance] Cannot delete Cloud Document within the Fresco App

Apologies if this has already been addressed elsewhere, but occasionally I get a synch error and I end up with a document that appears to be stored locally but does not exist on the cloud (I cannot see it within the Creatve Cloud App). It often has an orange exclamation mark next to it, but when you try and delete it, it says it cannot be deleted.

I've tried all kinds of combinations both within the Fresco app and Creative Cloud to remove these kinds of documents (when they are not wanted) without any success.

Does anyone know anyway of removing them (or a link to a solution?)

Hi James:

Assuming that you can see it when you open Fresco, can you check what it says for that particular image when you click on the 3 dot menu at the bottom of the thumbnail?

see my screenshot

if it's "make online only" instead of make available offline" can you check what happens if you actually make it available online?

If it appears in the Creative Cloud app after that, you should be able to delete from the same menu I just shown in my screenshot

you can also check - just in case - if they appear if you select "go to creative cloud web" that can be opened from your CC app.

Hi,

Unfortunately, it says "Make Available Offline". I can still open the file in Fresco, but it won't delete. However, it doesn't seem to appear anywhere in Creative Cloud.

Like I've said above, this has happened a couple of times and whilst I've never lost work (as I can duplicate the document and rename it, which then synchs), the original document is left hanging with an orange exclamation mark. I then just end up waiting for it to disappear off my Home Screen.

regards,

James

Sorry I couldn't pin point it. I guess your last resort is to check with Adobe's advice. Although it should always be the last resort.

Hello @James22132877dfqo,

Sorry to hear about this experience. Would you mind checking if all of your work is synced online (https://assets.adobe.com/cloud-documents)?
If yes, kindly try deleting and reinstalling the app and check if the problem file gets removed.
If you need to back up the file(s), try exporting as a PSD and share your observations.

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks,

Anubhav

Everything I need should be synced on the cloud, but I was hoping there may be a simpler explanation then just reinstalling the app.

However, if no one comes up with anything else, I will give it a go.

regards

James.
