Question

[Performance] Cannot draw on an existing frame

I have multiple layers, each with multiple frames. When I try to draw or erase on a frame that already exists for any of the layers, Fresco says "Cannot draw (erase) on a hidden layer", unless it's the first frame of the layer. I can, however, draw or erase if I create a new frame for the same layer. I am using pixel layers and pixel brushes. I'm not sure if this is a bug or I'm doing something wrong.

Are you referring to frames in regards to creating a motion graphic?

Can you include a screenshot showing the tool bars when you see the error.

Which device are you using?

User sleepydada is describing the same phenomenon that I am experiencing - and yes, it is related to motion layers.  When you try to draw/erase on a frame of a layer that has content on it and that was hidden/unhidden by a Hide All Other Layers function at some point previously (but is now not hidden), the message pop-up informs that you cannot draw/erase on hidden layer.
